In the construction domain, aluminium beams are those that help create a secure framework. When you come across such beams, they are designed in the shape of an ‘I.’. Besides being durable, these beams are resistant to corrosion. When the strength-to-weight ratio is maintained, such beams help to distribute the load effectively. This can be accomplished without adding excess weight. Mostly, these beams are used for many fabrication projects. Workers will use these beams for rails, overhead supports, trolleys, and more. But, as these are supplied, they are not suitable for any other applications.
Specification of Scaffold Aluminium Beams
Here are the different specifications for Aluminium beams.
>> While designing Aluminium beams, these are made from high-strength aluminium alloy. Hence, they are known for durability.
>> Usually, the Aluminium I beams are available in 2 ft, 4 ft, 6 ft, 8 ft, 12 ft, or 25ft. But, you can seek custom sizes depending on your requirements.
>> Most of the time, aluminium beams support heavy loads. These loads range from 500 to 1500 kg. However, the load-bearing capacity will depend on the application.
>> As far as the beam’s width is concerned, it ranges from 200 mm to 500 mm. This helps for better load distribution with time.
>> As these beams are light in weight, the weight is between 5 and 20 kg for every beam.
Eventually, the standard length tolerance for Aluminum I beams is +/- ¼. But, for custom cut beams, the tolerance is equal to +/- 1/16.

Why choose AAIT Scaffolds Aluminum I beams?
AAIT Scaffolds Aluminium I-beams are known for their high load-bearing capacity. This ensures better support at the construction site.
>> As the beams we manufacture are light in weight, they can be easier to handle. This reduces the effort required while assembling or dismantling the scaffold.
>> Our aluminium beams are corrosion resistant. These don’t get rusted during inclement weather conditions.
>> Even when you use beams for a long time, they will maintain structural integrity. This reduces the burden of bearing replacement costs.
>> The beams that we supply meet international standards. This ensures a safe working environment when workers are moving ahead with different tasks.
